Waitaminute magazine is an irregular design publication, devoted and aimed to spread of experimentalism and passion in graphic design & some other fields. It is published on ‘As ready’ basis, and follows no trends.
Waitaminute magazine is an irregular publication, designed and edited by Dmitri Moruz. It was initiated with an aim of delivering visual explorations to a wider audience, spreading the idea of passion and inquisitive attitude towards learning. Each publication has a theme/subject, that somehow relates to the visual arts. Primary and only requirements for a piece of work/project to have in order to appear in waitaminute is that it should be able to surprise the viewer by being visually thrilling and complete in the sense of conceptual development. Be it experimental photography, installation, typeface design, illustration or identity as long as it goes against long established principles. It doesn’t necessarily need to be made for a client (although, it is suggested that it is), but it could also be a self-initiated one as well.
One of the important features of the magazine is revealing the process of creation of the project, thus making it a better source for learning how to do and how to think by doing. We don’t want another showcase magazine, but one that would be timeless in content, and detached of trends.
